These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sciraise (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Nature of the platform
Sciraise is a connection platform. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial intermediary, and we do not deal in securities. Startups pay a subscription to list their company; access is free for verified investors. Any investment is made directly between the investor and the company. Sciraise does not charge success fees, carry, or commissions on transactions, and does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your company, role, or investment activity.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or misleading content.
- Attempt to access data not intended for you, or interfere with the Services.
- Use the Services to solicit users for unrelated commercial purposes.
5. Subscriptions and fees
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Sciraise a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and display your content as needed to operate the Services. The Sciraise platform, brand, and software are owned by Sciraise.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any introduction will result in funding, partnership, or any other outcome. Users are responsible for their own due diligence.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sciraise will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Services.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that creates risk for Sciraise or other users.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
